THE PASSAGE
As with most things in our lives,
It is much the same with this story.
There is a mysterious “ferry boat”,
Which without ever asking you,
Transfers you, every day,
From this side to the other.
Without a pause,
It takes you from one thought
To the banks of another,
From this second to the next,
From Friday night to Saturday,
From Rion to Antirion*,
From “Do to La”
Even from blue to white.
A “ferry boat” crowded,
On each route,
With restless, flaming visions
And fairy tales
Those unbelievable tales
That take a deep breath,
Walk along the street,
At times cough or stumble,
But mainly indulge
In dreaming.
And all they need is nothing else
But that profound
And ceaseless fire,
Burning
In the heart of each one of them.
A fire
That may become
A reality of unknown origin!

ΤΟ ΠΕΡΑΣΜΑ
Όπως τα περισσότερα πράγματα
Στη ζωή μας,
Έτσι και σ’ αυτή την ιστορία,
Υπάρχει ένα μυστηριώδες “ferry boat”
Το οποίο χωρίς να σε ρωτήσει ποτέ,
Σε περνάει κάθε μέρα, απέναντι.
Από τη μια σκέψη στην όχθη μιας άλλης,
Από το ένα δευτερόλεπτο στο επόμενο,
Από την νύχτα της Παρασκευής
Στο Σάββατο,
Από το Ρίο στο Αντίριο,
Από το “Do” στο “La”,
Ακόμη από το Γαλάζιο στο Λευκό.
Ένα “ferry boat”
Που γεμίζει με φλογισμένα
Και αδημονούντα οράματα
Και παραμύθια.
Από εκείνα τα απίστευτα παραμύθια
Που αναπνέουν, βήχουν,
Σκοντάφτουν
Και μερικές φορές ονειρεύονται.
Και δεν χρειάζονται σχεδόν τίποτε άλλο,
εκτός από αυτή την ασίγαστη
Και ανόθευτη φωτιά,
Που καίει
Μέσα στα βάθη της καρδιάς τους,
Για να γίνουν το καθένα τους
Ένα αληθινό περιστατικό!
